Volunteer

Swanton Pacific Railroad Society Volunteer since 1994

At a young age I began volunteering with the Swanton Pacific Railroad Society operating and maintaining a 1-mile long railbed and multiple one-third scale steam locomotives built in 1914 and a one-third scale U25B diesel built in the 1960s. I currently serve as the society’s secretary, social media manager, content creator and photographer.
I have photographed an extesive gallery of images during the cleanup process following the CZU Lightning Complex Fire of August, 2020.
I also record progress updates and edit archived footage with interviews with members as content for both Facebook and YouTube and created the YouTube mini-series "Stories of the Swanton Pacific"

El Paso County 4H Alumna and Volunteer

Educating younger generations is vital to growth in any industry. As an El Paso County, Colorado 4H alumni, I coached young members on the fundamentals of showing horses, how to become better riders and judged several small horse shows. I competed for the title of El Paso Fair Queen in 2013 where I promoted the county fair and county 4-H program by making appearances at parades, rodeo grand entries and speaking at luncheons.
